Marriage comes by destiny

The Princess was having a terrible time. "golly, I can't decide which frog to kiss!" she exclaimed.
After days of indecision, the frogs grew weary of waiting. "I'm going for a swim," one of them finally croaked. "If she selects one of you while I'm gone, it's because marriage comes by destiny."
The frog is using a proverb that means people don't really decide which person to marry. That's something that's decided by fate!
人的一生是否被命运（destiny）主宰呢？那些相信命运之说的人，也许会同意“marriage comes by destiny”的说法，因为这句西洋谚语指出姻缘是命中注定，而不是容许我们作主的缘分。中国谚语中也有“婚姻姻缘，事非偶然”。
